from Lakeland
Go south on U. S. 98 (Bartow Highway) to Bartow.
When you get to the intersection with State Road 60, go straight at the intersection rather than following signs for 98. (The intersection has a Circle K, a CVS, and a MidFlorida Credit Union.)
Follow that street, Broadway, to BHS. It will be on your left. If you get to a football stadium, stop, because you’ve overshot the turn by a few hundred yards.
from Winter Haven
Go south on U. S. 17 to Bartow.
Turn right at the intersection before the overpass onto State Road 60. There’s an AutoZone on the left at that light. When you make the turn, you’ll see Taco Bell and Wal-Mart.
At the third light (just past Publix), make a left. (The intersection has a Circle K, a CVS, and a MidFlorida Credit Union.)
Follow that street, Broadway, to BHS. It will be on your left. If you get to a football stadium, stop, because you’ve overshot the turn by a few hundred yards.
from Fort Meade
Go north on U. S. 17 to Bartow.
Turn left on Main Street. At the intersection there’s an Advance Discount Auto Parts, a former gas station, and a pawn shop.
When you get to the traffic light by the old courthouse, turn left.
Follow that street, Broadway, to BHS. It will be on your left. If you get to a football stadium, stop, because you’ve overshot the turn by a few hundred yards.
[Note: if you know Bartow, you could take a somewhat shorter route which would take much more explanation on my part. But if you know Bartow, you’re probably not reading this.]
from Lake Wales
Go west on State Road 60 to Bartow.
When you’re almost to town, follow the signs to Downtown (US 17). It’s a left hand turn with a traffic light before you cross the oncoming traffic.
This street will become Main Street. Follow it until you get to the traffic light at the old courthouse. Turn left.
Follow that street, Broadway, to BHS. It will be on your left. If you get to a football stadium, stop, because you’ve overshot the turn by a few hundred yards.
[Note: if you miss the downtown exit, stay on Hwy. 60 until you get to the intersection just past Publix and take a left there to get on Broadway. It just takes a couple of extra minutes.]
from Mulberry
Go east on State Road 60 to Bartow.
When you get to town, after you’ve passed a couple of car dealerships, make a right hand turn at the traffic light just before the overpass. The sign says “Courthouse Jury Parking,” and you’ll be on Main Street.
At the traffic light by the old courthouse, turn right.
Follow that street, Broadway, to BHS. It will be on your left. If you get to a football stadium, stop, because you’ve overshot the turn by a few hundred yards.
